In his professional career, Mike Lohbeck, CBI (Certified Business Intermediary) has worked with hundreds of small to mid-sized, family-owned and operated businesses in the Midwest. Known for his tireless dedication to those he works with, Mike’s expertise includes strategic initiatives, business planning, sales and revenue generation, business development, succession planning, staffing and personal development, and the business-for-sale marketplace.

Starting with his first real work experience, Mike worked for a small family-owned chain of meat stores at the age of 16, graduating to a larger chain of grocery stores, then working into the corporate distribution sector in sales. Mike succeeded in sales, leading him to upper management positions, with one of the premier full-service wholesale distributors in the Midwest region.

Mike’s years of professional experience, combined with his formal education in Marketing and Finance at the University of Cincinnati, have given him invaluable understanding of what it takes to plan, develop, and run a profitable business. In addition to owning MGL Business Solutions since 2012, Mike and his wife, Pam have owned and operated a successful vacation rental property business since January 2016. Mike’s knowledge has enabled him to work through various economic cycles that have occurred over the past three decades. Because Mike has a long history with family-owned business and large corporations, he is highly regarded and trusted in succession planning and preparing exit strategies for profitable business transactions. Pamela Lohbeck

Sales and Marketing Specialist

Pam Lohbeck has vast experience as a Senior Sales Leader in the healthcare industry with a proven track record of high sales performance in the Ohio, Kentucky and Indiana geography. Pam is a motivational leader who builds inspired sales teams to collaborate strategically and cross functionally to drive results, in a “patient first” culture. Earlier in her career, Pam honed her business to business (B2B) skills by selling health club memberships and retail/commercial fitness equipment for high commission, which drove her competitive spirit. Pam earned a Master of Science degree in Exercise Science from Miami University and a Bachelor of Science degree in Community Health Education from The Ohio State University in Columbus, Ohio. Pam was awarded a full scholarship from The Ohio State University for Track and Cross Country.

Pam has joined MGL Business Solutions, as Sales and Marketing Specialist, to give confidential personalized service for our everyday business needs to our valued customers.

David Murdock, MBA

Dave is a corporate executive with 33 years of experience in the manufacturing industry, primarily in plastics machinery and plastics production. His professional career has provided Dave with management experience in sales, marketing, engineering, R&D and business development.

Dave is known for his friendly demeanor and persistence for excellence. With his mechanical engineering background and MBA, Dave has taken many new products to market and created very successful new businesses. Dave has a complete understanding of the economic drivers that make a company successful to enhance current and future valuation.

Dave is the inventor of 15 patents in machinery, materials and processing and has several more patents pending. He was also elected into the Plastics Pioneers Association.
